
Commercial Pilot License Course
Enrollment Requirements (Pre-requisites), an applicant must:
- Hold a current category one Medical issued by Transport Canada before the flight test.
- Hold a Private Pilot Licence or higher.
- Be able to read, write, and speak in English, without assistance.
- Be at least 18 years of age to hold the licence.
Privileges:
- Engage in providing commercial flight services as Pilot-in Command or Co-Pilot
- Exercise the privileges of a Private Pilot Licence
- Exercise the privileges of a Night Rating
- Exercise the privileges of a Visual Flight Rules Over-the-Top rating
Flight Training:
A minimum of 65 hours of flight time, which must include:
- 35 hours of dual instruction
• 5 hours must be night-time, including 2 hours night cross-country
• 5 hours cross-country (the 2 hours night cross-country will be counted towards the 5 hours total time)
• 20 hours instrument - 30 hours solo
• 25 hours flight time emphasising the improvement of general flying skills, including a 300nm radius cross-country
• 5 hours night

An applicant must have 200 hours of flight time for Transport Canada to sign-off the licence; 100 hours of which must be as pilot-in-command, including 20 hours cross-country.
Applicants shall complete a flight test to the standard outlined in the Flight Test Standards by Transport Canada.
